RF Wireless thumbboard & touchpad

Just received in mail from HK.  This appeared in the mp3car forum, though with much sceptics.   At 40 USD, it isn’t exactly cheap, but the packaging sure is.

The workmanship is questionable as well.  See below.

Long service.

My old ID tagsIn a blink, this is my tenth year in NUH.  Which is also the 13th year as a doctor.

Looking back, I have changed a lot, and not necessary for the better.  Yes, I am a better doctor (I certainly hope so…..)  but I am not sure if I am a better person.

I am definitely less spontaneous, less tolerant, and certainly more grumpy.

I need a break.  Seriously.

I am a fan!

It’s rather rare for me to be fanatic about anything.  While I might be passionate about things, rarely about people.

Nevertheless, I was touched by the exhibition of one man, Fernando Verdasco.  His 5 hour marathon game against Nadal has to go down history as one of the great matches, not just for it's length, but for its intensity and more.

This is a man to watch for 2009.

Changeable lizard.

Found this little fella in PL's garden on CNY. Quite the showman don't you think?

A good photo says it all.

This is an idea. Yes it's ugly, but it might be functional after all.

NEC M155 Messenger watch phone for healthcare, hospitality, and those without shame

By Joseph L. Flatley on sms

The less we say about this one the better, we're afraid. Billed as "the ultimate messaging device for healthcare and hospitality," the M155 Messenger functions as a speaker phone, a wireless messaging device (presumably SMS), an alarm clock, and boasts a whopping three-line display. And we wouldn't be caught dead wearing it. Not as a watch or, as NEC-Philips recommends, a necklace. Of course, these things are meant to be purchased in bulk for use by hospitals and such, but don't you think those who are entrusted with our health deserve something a little less... insanely ugly? No price or release date -- but does that really matter? Suddenly, the LG watch phone looks pretty good. Pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Time out

R0013762

It  has been a while since I take a little time for myself.  As in strictly for myself.  Sitting around, thinking of nothing and everything.  After a bad week, I was desperately in need of one, and I ignore it.  My body protested majorly yesterday.

Now, I am sitting in the middle of Orchard Road, enjoying the afternoon sun, the breeze and the comfort of the crowd.

It's extremely therapeutic.  I ought to do this more often
